1. Scope

These Terms govern the use of the platform “Trunq”.

By registering, you agree to these Terms.

2. Age Requirement

You must be at least 16 years old to use Trunq. This threshold matches the EU minimum age for valid consent to information-society services under Art. 8 GDPR (as implemented in Germany — no derogation to a lower age).

We do not provide a verified parental-consent workflow for users under 16. If you create an account stating you are at least 16, you confirm that this is true.

3. Account

You agree to:

  • provide accurate information
  • keep your login credentials secure

You are responsible for all activities under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You must not:

  • post illegal, harmful, or abusive content
  • harass or threaten others
  • upload malware or attack the platform
  • scrape or extract data without permission
  • use bots without authorization

5. User Content

You retain ownership of your content.

By posting, you grant Trunq a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and process your content.

You are responsible for your content.

We may remove content that violates these Terms.

6. Enforcement & Appeals

We may remove content or suspend accounts for violations of these Terms or applicable law (in particular illegal content, harassment, sexualised content involving minors, threats, or coordinated abuse).

When we take action against your content or account, we will notify you with a specific reason (statement of reasons) and tell you how to appeal. You can appeal by replying to the notification, by emailing the support address shown in the contact section, or by using the contact form at trunq.de/legal/contact. Appeals are reviewed by a different person from the one who made the original decision.

Reports of illegal content are reviewed under our notice-and-action procedure (see Privacy Policy section 11).

7. Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are only liable for intent and gross negligence.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time.

10. Governing Law

German law applies.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use means acceptance.
